LOUDNESS PROCESSING
EBU R 128 and ITU-R BS.1770-4 Loudness Recommendations available for digital and analog radio processing chains complying with each country's loudness rules.
ADVANCED SWITCHING
Advanced Audio Changeover/Silence Detector can switch between input sources: Analog, digital, IP, Dante™, internal audio player.
REAL-TIME AUDIO MONITOR
The processing delay is not noticeable, from 10 to 30 mS depending on the complexity of processing.
Audio processing
Clarity of sound
Falcon processors' high-quality hardware design and software algorithms produce detailed, crystal-clear sound on any speaker system, always preserving the original audio signature.
Voice processor
A dedicated processing section enhances the presence of vocals, providing a smooth and silky effect. Vocals are always in the foreground of the mix, making lyrics comfortably audible. Each instrument and singer gets dominance of their own space.
Extreme density
Falcon processors deliver high-impact sound at maximum volume density, preserving original audio details, identity and ambience. The dedicated 'Bass Enhancer' stage delivers strong and effective 'drum punch' for deep musical emotion.

Factory Presets
The right sound for your Radio or TV in just a few clicks thanks to our Factory Presets.
In our Factory Presets is all our expertise gained from thirty years of experience, enriched by the advice of leading industry experts.
HD Radio Applications
Falcon processors are populated with 8 Factory Preset Families for FM and HD Radio, enabling sound engineers to quickly find the sound they want. A number of Flavors are available for each family.
All Factory Presets are available in 50 µsec and 75 µsec pre-emphasis versions, while some are available in a version specifically for HD Radio.
Four additional versions are available for each Flavor:
+1: slightly emphasized
+2: moderately emphasized
EFX: same as +2 with some bass and stereo enhancements
Voice: slightly reduced to emphasize speech
Combining all this, Falcon gives you more than 240 presentations, one of which is right for you.
Signal routing and switching
The new Falcon processor includes a technologically advanced audio/silence switch that can switch between sources-Analog, digital, IP, AoIP... If there is no audio from external sources, the processor can play the playlist stored in the microSD.
A built-in test signal generator makes it possible to output an audio signal suitable for testing equipment or the entire audio system.
I/O Connections
The new Falcon series of audio processors has a full range of input and output connections. Analog and digital AES/EBU audio connections are standard with hardware bypass: Analog input > Analog output | Digital input1 > Digital output1 | Digital input2 > Digital output2
Three USB ports are available (one on the front panel, one on the rear panel, and one installed on the internal circuit board).
The microSD allows the entire configuration to be cloned from one Falcon to another.
The Dante™ connection, available as an option, allows AoIP Dante™ or AE67 signals to be handled: 2 stereo inputs and 2 stereo outputs.
Front Panel
Falcon D7 has a large color display with TFT technology (480×128) that shows input and output processing, including corrections for each band of the compressor, limiters, and multiband AGC.
Of course, it also shows the input and output of all signal levels.
In addition, through the display you can check the status of the system: operating parameters, GPI/O port status, etc.
A TRS connector (6.3 mm stereo jack) allows you to monitor both the original and processed signal, checking the differences between available presets more quickly.
Communications and alarms
Falcon audio processors can exchange information with other equipment through a number of communication ports: One LAN/WAN port, two RS-232 serial ports, two USB ports, one GPIO port with optical coupler and relays.
Information can be sent (status, alarms) or received (commands). A panel with 40 LEDs and LCD display shows status information.
Alarm messages can be sent via GPO, SNMP (Trap) and http.
Web server
Uszrs can manage the Falcon equipment via LAN, without the need to install any client software. The internal Web Server can be managed with any browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera...). The graphical web page interface is clear, easy to use and responsive, suitable to be managed from any device: personal computer, tablet, smartphone.
The SNMP programming protocol (v 2.0c) allows the entire set of commands to be managed. Falcon firmware also implements HTTP, FTP, SNMP, SMTP, UDP, TCP and is PV4 - IPV6 compliant. RDS services require precise synchronization: the system attempts to connect to a primary NTP, a backup NTP, and an external GPS receiver (not provided).
In addition, connecting an external GPS allows the Falcon to geo-locate. The WEB server provides a page with a map showing the location of the device.
