This model offers reliable monitoring of up to four stereo, analogue, audio channels, with one speaker assigned to provide a mono sum of each stereo input. The front panel provides volume controls for each of the four speakers mounted on the front panel and a single power LED. The rear panel provides eight balanced, analogue, line-level inputs via female 3-pin XLR connectors and AC power connection, an IEC input with built-in fuse and adjacent power switch.

When configured as a dual mono monitor, the volume control will be assigned to the right channel and the balance control will act as master level control for the left channel. There is also a 6.35mm stereo headphone jack, which mutes the speakers when used. Audio measurement is via two LED bargraphs. Two phono sockets provide an auxiliary analogue input source.
The rear panel provides two line-level analogue inputs via XLR connectors. Two XLRs provide line-level analogue audio outputs, which follow the audio output of the left and right speakers. The IEC power input with built-in fuse has an adjacent power switch.

BCR-A4-4OB
This offers many of the same functionality as the BCR-A1OB, but has the added functionality of both digital AES and analogue support. The front panel provides a rotary switch that selects between the available inputs. Four LEDs indicate the presence of valid and locked AES sources. Like the BCR-A 1OB there is also a 6.35mm stereo headphone jack, which mutes the speakers when used. Audio measurement is made via two LED bargraphs.
