AARON 650 FM - INOVONICS
The AARON 650 FM retransmitter/translator receiver is built to handle the most demanding reception scenarios. Boasting superior sensitivity and selectivity even for the most elite professional or consumer receivers, the AARON 650 combines premium features with unmatched receiver performance.
AARON works in both composite through and composite regeneration mode. The composite pass-through eliminates retransmission delay (latency) and composite regeneration allows you to completely rebuild the baseband signal to reduce noise, while also altering RDS messaging before retransmission.

With your arms relaxed at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your chest.
Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, generally around the belly button. To ensure a comfortable fit, keep one finger between the measuring tape and your body.
The "responsive" web interface of the AARON 650
Allows complete configuration, listening, recording and control of the unit from PC, tablet or smartphone, and reliable 2-way connectivity is provided by a built-in Dynamic DNS utility. Advanced off-air measurement instruments include an FM and FFT BandScanner from the MPX region. The reception bandwidth, auto-blending and many other receiver parameters are controlled by manual or automatic reception processing.
Features:
Unmatched DSP-based receiver performance
Composite mode Pass-Through and Baseband Regeneration
Dual antenna inputs (N connectors) and dual composite outputs (independently adjustable), balanced analog outputs and AES-Digital Program Line
Active reception processing by bandwidth, Stereo Blend, HF Blending and more
FM band tuning range extension: 64MHz to 108MHz
Advanced measurement includes FFT spectrum analyzer for MPX, XY Left/Right plots and audio levels over time.
BandScanner for RF spectrum analysis on site
The local alarm matches the local alarm and the self-locking alarms constantly monitor for audio loss, RF loss and RDS loss.
RDS messaging can be changed to stereo regeneration mode.
Backup failover audio via SD card and web-stream audio
Remote control web interface with listening, as well as alarm notifications via email and SMS
SNMP remote monitoring and control
Includes antenna adapter from "N" to "F".

BACK PANEL APPOINTMENTS
Antenna Inputs
One of the two 50 ohm (N) inputs can be assigned to any preset station.
Digital line output
The 24-bit AES3 stereo output (XLR) can be adjusted between -30dBFS and 0dBFS, corresponding to a carrier deviation of ±75kHz, with or without de-emphasis. The output sample rate can be set to 32kHz, 44.1kHz or 48kHz.
Analog line outputs
Active balanced outputs (XLR) are adjustable between -20dBu and +18dBu (+15.5dBm), corresponding to a carrier deviation of ±75kHz, with or without de-emphasis. The source impedance is 200 ohms.
Composite/MPX outputs
Two unbalanced outputs (BNC) are independently adjustable between 1V p-p and 6V p-p, corresponding to a carrier deviation of ±75kHz. The source impedance is 75 ohms.
USB port
Provides raw RDS data for analysis
Network port
An RJ45 jack accepts TCP/IP network connections for configuration and remote operation of the AARON 650.
Headphone jack (front panel)
A quarter-inch headphone jack (TRS) controls the off-air program signal. The headphone volume is a menu item.
AUDIO FAILOVER PROTECTION
In case of loss of the incoming carrier, loss of program audio, or "hijacking" of the RDS, the off- air program can be replaced either with pre-recorded material on a plug-in SD card or with a web-streaming audio feed.
AUDIO PROCESSING FEATURES
In both through and MPX regeneration modes, you can insert up to 3dB of composite cutout to better define the FM deviation limit. The 19kHz stereo driver and 57kHz RDS subcarrier are stripped, filtered and reinserted after the clipper.
THE USER INTERFACE
Front panel
A graphic display on the front panel and a scroll wheel allow you to set up and operate the AARON 650 in a simple, menu-driven, on-site manner. The "VU" LED counters display the audio levels of the L/R program.
Software control
The IP network port allows full configuration and remote operation of the AARON 650 over a local network or the Internet using any desktop, tablet or mobile browser.
SNMP
SNMP remote monitoring supported
